Beginners

• Motorcycle Training - The Beginner’s Guide - excellent website for UK riders
• Learning to Ride a Motorbike - It seems more complicated working out what you need to do to ride a motorbike than it is to pass all the necessary tests in UK. Here’s a brief guide.
• You can Ride a Motorcycle - excellent guide from About.com Motorcycles blog: introduction, how to get started learning to ride a motorcycle, getting the training you need to ride a motorcycle, buying your first motorcycle, and gennerally, becoming a motorcyclist.
• Learning to Ride a Motorcycle - A Newbie’s Journal - a journal documenting personal experience of a Newbie Motorcycle Rider. Please do read this if you’re a beginner.
• BBC  - h2g2 - How to Ride a Motorcycle - all-in-one guide for starters: road sense, equipment, riding tips, cornering, braking and avoidance technique.
• TotalMotorcycle.com - Beginner’s Guide to Motorcycling - excellent extensive and very practical guide on starting riding, including basics, gearing up, learning techniques (especially useful), counter-steering and push-steering, etc.
